Pizza- Cappy’s on Bay to Bay. Sit outside on the porch when the weather is nice!
“Healthy” Fast Food- Evos inside Westshore Mall or on S. Howard.
Burgers & Fries- Five Guys on Kennedy or their new location on S. Dale Mabry. Also, Square 1 Burger on Henderson is a bit fancier and may have a wait for lunch, but AWESOME food. Try the sweet potato fries!
Hot Dogs- Mel’s Hot Dogs on Bush Blvd.
BBQ- Lee Roy Selmon’s on Boy Scout, across from International Plaza.
Seafood- The Crab Shack… talk about a hole in the wall, but great fried fish and shrimp!
Mexican- Chipotle on Westshore. Kind of a hike, but The Taco Bus on Hillsborough is worth the trip for authentic Mexican!
Italian- Pane Rustica on MacDill, try their mozzarella and tomato on rosemary focaccia… WOW! Bella’s Italian Cafe on Howard.
Chinese- Yummy House on Waters Ave. Don’t be scared from the outside or when you walk in..again,worth the drive!
Thai- Jasmine Thai on Westshore.
Sandwich Shop- Datz Deli on MacDill is more than just a deli, Schiller’s German Delicatessen on El Prado and Manhattan, Barrow’s on Henderson, and Wright’s Gourmet House on S. Dale Mabry are all wonderful sandwich shops!
Greek- Louis Pappas on Bay to Bay and Gogo’s Greek Grill on Kennedy.
New American- Grillsmith on S. Dale Mabry.
Brunch- Oystercatchers, champagne-style, ooh la la! If you’re looking for more casual, The Brunchery on MacDill, try the French toast.
Breakfast- Tahitian Inn on S. Dale Mabry. Pach’s Place on Bay to Bay.
Bagels- Einstein Bros. on S. Dale Mabry. Sunshine Bagel, also on S. Dale Mabry, try the touchdown!
Lattes- Datz Deli on MacDill.
Ice Cream- Yogurt Naturally on Henderson, try their mocha chip shake! Dairy Joy on Manhattan has the best chocolate-dipped ice cream cone!
Doughnuts- Krispy Kreme on Kennedy
Cupcakes- The Cupcake Spot on MacDill, Better Than’s are heaven!
Sweet Tooth- Kalupa’s on MacDill. City Street Sweets in Hyde Park Village.

Sushi- Sakana on Gandy or Sushi Alive on N. Dale Mabry. YUMMY!
Steak- Lots of choices! Capital Grill at International Plaza, Bern’s Steakhouse on Howard (unique experience-take the kitchen tour and save room in your tummy for the dessert room), The Palm at Westshore Mall (fabulous lobster specials during the summer!) Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Charlie’s, both on Westshore Blvd.
Seafood- Mitchell’s at Westshore Mall. The Colonade on Bayshore has a wonderful view.
Hawaiian Fusion- Roy’s on Boy Scout Blvd.
Italian- Pelagia Trattoria at International Plaza, Cafe Paradiso or Pane Rustica, both on MacDill.
Progressive Global Cusine- Café Dufrain on Harbour Island offers an urban waterfront oasis! Chef Ferrell is superb!
Lebanese- Byblos Cafe on MacDill. They even have belly dancers!
Tapas- Ceviche on Howard. Spain downtown, awesome sangria!
Modern American Cuisine- Mise En Place on Kennedy.
Spanish- Columbia in historic Ybor City.
Special Occasion- Six Tables on Henderson. Six Tables in Tampa is your place when looking for a relaxed and intimate evening.
